Redeemer is a congregational, elder-led church. The congregation is the final authority within the church, but this authority is normally exercised through elders who lead the Church.
The elders are responsible for governing the Church, teaching the Word, and shepherding the flock of God. Deacons assist the elders by performing services of advice, administration, and implementation.
Elders
Daniel Mollenkopf
Daniel grew up here in San Antonio and was raised in a Christian home, coming to know Christ at age 6. He graduated from Texas A&M University in 2002 with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a master’s in Financial Management and then worked as a CPA for six years in the Houston area. He helped to plant Redeemer Community Church as the preaching elder in November 2012. His influences include Richard Caldwell’s expository teaching ministry, John MacArthur’s commitment to biblical authority, John Piper’s passion for the glory of God, and Tim Keller’s ability to win over skeptics and missionally reach his city.
Daniel and his wife Michelle were married in 2004 and have two children, Haddon and Prentiss. Daniel enjoys activities with his family like fishing, hunting, camping, biking, gaming, smoking/grilling, playing and watching most sports (especially Aggie football), as well as reading, drinking coffee, and dating Michelle.

Tommy Hard
Tommy was born and raised in San Antonio and became a believer in 2001 at the age of 20. He fell in love with the Word and began enjoying it along with many Christian books and audio sermons and could be found at church every time the lights were on. It was during this time the he met his future wife, Jessica. In 2004 he began his studies at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (SWBTS) and became convinced of the truth of God’s complete sovereignty in all things, including one’s salvation. In 2005, Tommy and Jessica were married and moved to Ft. Worth the following year so that he could complete his Masters of Divinity at the main campus of SWBTS. While in Ft. Worth, they joined Redeemer Ft. Worth and remained members there until 2017. After moving back to San Antonio they started attending Redeemer Community Church in 2018. Tommy has taught in many capacities for children, youth, and adults. He has also preached on many occasions, and is currently teaching the children’s and youth class here at Redeemer.
Tommy is employed as a SCADA controls specialist and runs a side business making leather archery gear. He and Jessica have four boys, Daniel, Eli, David, and Caleb. As a family they enjoy hiking, camping, and playing board games. During quieter times, Tommy also appreciates a good audio book while leather crafting.

Daniel Isenhower
Daniel grew up in a Christian home, the oldest of three children. He accepted Jesus at an early age, but didn’t have a real conversion until later in life when he was in college. After college, Daniel worked as a software developer in Houston, TX, and later accepted a position in Nashville, TN and served on his church’s audio team. While in Nashville, Daniel met his wife, Lindsay, through a mutual friend at church. They got married exactly one year after their first date. Six months later, they moved to the Philippines for Daniel’s job, where they became leaders in the youth ministry of their church. After moving back to the US, they landed in the Seattle area and attended an church. A year and a half later, they moved to San Antonio and began attending a church where Daniel’s brother and sister were also attending. Having volunteered for the audio team at that church, he was eventually made its lead. After some time, Daniel and Lindsay began searching for a different church and God led them to Redeemer, where he continues to use his A/V expertise in service to the church.
