Redeemer Community Church was formed in November of 2012 with a handful of families who were hungry for God to do a new work in San Antonio. We are a gospel community of committed Christians who are driven by the conviction that the Bible is God’s Word and therefore the absolute authority for what we believe and how we live. We believe God’s Word provides answers to the ultimate questions of life and answers to basic, day-to-day questions of life. We exist to glorify God by proclaiming the truth of His Word and by missional living out of His Word so that others come to know Jesus Christ and grow to be like Him. If you have not yet trusted in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, our greatest desire is to share with you what it means to be a Christian and how to become one. If you have already committed your life to follow Jesus Christ, then our desire is to help you develop a deeper, more intimate relationship with Him.
We are a gospel-centered church committed to making disciples and making much of Jesus. We are a bible centered church focused on applying the truth of God’s Word to our hearts and minds. We are a missional church focused on taking the gospel to the world around us through word and deed. We desire to make Christ known here in San Antonio, throughout Texas, from coast to coast of the United States, and around the world.
We are just a bunch of broken, sinful people, probably just like you. If you have things all figured out, and you don’t struggle with sin and temptation, then this might not be the right church for you. You will find us too broken, too dependent on Jesus, too in need of redemption. But if you are still on the path to maturity, if you are still seeking to understand, if you are still wanting to grow, then we invite you to join us. Every week we gather together and look to God’s Word for ultimate answers. We know that true joy and satisfaction comes from knowing and loving and serving the one true God through His Son Jesus Christ, and we know that all growth and change come through applying the glorious gospel to our lives.
At a Redeemer worship service, you will find passionate and biblical worship and consistent explanation and application of the Bible. Our Community Groups are meetings of hope where people can know each other, love each other and serve together. We are also committed to serving those in need in our neighborhoods as well as around our city.
